.Richard William Eden, a cherished member of his community and beloved family man, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Born on February 3, 1960, in Springfield, Tennessee, Richard lived a life filled with passion, dedication, and love for his family and friends.

A skilled drywaller, Richard dedicated many years to his craft, becoming well-respected in his field. He took immense pride in his work and was known to approach every project with diligence and care. Outside of his professional life, Richard was a man of many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed fishing passionately and expressed a deep love for vehicles, reveling in everything about them. Camping at Piney Camp Ground in Dover was a treasured activity, bringing him joy and a sense of adventure.

Richard's greatest pride stemmed from his family. He is remembered fondly by his wife, Annette Eden, with whom he shared 41 wonderful years. Together, they created a warm and loving home filled with laughter and support. Richard is survived by his children, Jacob (Katie) Eden and Hailey (Bryant) Hassell, who carry on his legacy of kindness and devotion. He was especially proud of his grandchildren, Luke Eden, Kenzley Eden, Keshawn Holman, and Ayana Holman, with whom he shared countless joyful moments. Known to them as "Paw Paw," Richard's affection for his grandchildren was evident; he delighted in their presence and made it a point to stay connected, often enjoying long conversations with family members. He is also survived by his siblings, Margaret Lamb, Brenda Mink, Teresa Thomas, and Steve West.

In addition to his immediate family, Richard is survived by his stepmother, Dora Ann Eden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Eden and Betty Baldwin Eden, and his siblings Pamela Jones, Bobby Eden, and Debbie Gower. Though they are no longer with him, the impact of their lives on his is remembered with love and appreciation.

Richard William Eden will be honored at a Celebration of Life service on November 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Flewellyn Church in Springfield, Tennessee, a fitting tribute to a man who so loved his family and community. As we reflect on Richard's life, we celebrate not only the passions that defined him but also the deep connections he fostered with those around him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
