Mr. Ronnie Caruthers, 73, of Springfield, passed away on February 4 at NHC Healthcare. He was born on June 1, 1943 to the late Roy and Mary Caruthers.
Mr. Ronnie enjoyed spending most of his time fishing and being by the water, with his dog Macy. If not fishing, he would enjoy spending some time in his garden. He was a lover of all sports and would always root for the "underdog."
He is survived by his loving children, Ryan Dean Caruthers (Amy), Jennifer Lynn Dubowsky (Wes), and Eric Caruthers; god son, Calvin Grady Freeman; six grandchildren; and one brother, Carlton Caruthers (Bobbie).
