COPELAND, Sarah M.- age 90, passed away December 14, 2013. She was born on July 9, 1923 in Overton County, TN to the late Edward and Thula Carmack. She met and married her late husband of more than 50 years, William Copeland and they resided in East Point, MI. Sarah was a homemaker for most of her life but during WWII she sold U.S. bonds. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed. She is preceded in death by her brother, William D. Carmack. She is survived by her sister, Maurine Walker; daughter, Deborah Copeland; nephew, Ron (Alex) Walker along with several other loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday December 15, 2013 from 1-4p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
