Sharon Ann Tomlin, age 63 of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 11, 1956 to the late Bonnie Lee and Mamie Elkins Miles in Boaz, Alabama. Sharon grew up in East Nashville and married the man of her dreams in August of 1986. They enjoyed camping at PJ Camp Grounds in Dover and dancing down at the Moose Lodge. She was described as a strong woman that had a servant's heart. She enjoyed playing the piano at Light House Baptist Church and teaching it to others.

Sharon will forever be remembered as the one that made every birthday party and Christmas the best. Her love for her family will be carried on for generations to come.
In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Miles and two great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, John W. Tomlin; children John W. Tomlin, III, Charlies (Beth) Boyd, Melissa (David) Carlos, Adrian (Irma) Landeaverde, and Ricky (Kim) Tomlin; sister, Patsy Elkins; nieces, Lisa (Wayne) Jennette, Lorie Miles and Tammy Miles; grandchildren, Ashley Brady, Joe Brady, Christian Miranda, Kika Brady, Ricky Golan, Jordan Tomlin and Jayden Tomlin; and three great grandchildren.

A Life Celebration will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Light House Baptist Church: 1700 S. Main Street Springfield, Tennessee 37172 with Brother Lan Stapleton officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Robert Denton, Adrian Landaverde, John Tomlin, III, William Adams, Bill Church and Joe Brady serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 11th at Springfield Funeral Home from 4-8pm then again on Thursday at the church from noon until the time of service.
