Obituary

Shaun Patrick Reeve, born August 26, 1979, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Springfield, Tennessee. Shaun’s life was marked by unwavering dedication, a warm spirit, and a deep sense of community that touched all who knew him.

Shaun's love of nature and fishing came from his Cherokee lineage passed down from his Grandpa, Ivan "Cotton" Wallace. He was 46 going on 16. Shaun had a unique gift for finding four-leaf clovers every time he stepped outside, a charming symbol of the luck and kindness he so freely shared with others. He was known for his generous heart, always the first to volunteer and lend a hand, and he approached every task with a smile and a spirit of service. His work as a plumber spanned many years, where his diligence and skill earned the respect of clients and colleagues alike.

Shaun’s greatest pride came from his family, particularly his beloved sons, Michael Shaun Reeves and Kristopher Blake Reeves. He cherished watching them grow into the fine men they became and was devoted to their wellbeing and happiness. Those close to Shaun were touched by his love of fishing, singing and music, card games with friends, and leisurely drives along backroads—simple pleasures that brought him immense joy.

He was the son of Lisa Reeves and William Patrick (Divina) Reeves and sibling to Rhen Michael Reeves. Shaun’s extended family included nieces and nephews—Krista Marlin, Tommy Reeves, Adrian Reeves and James Bellamy—as well as aunts Dana (Joseph) Bowman, Diane Reeves, and Michelle Dawn Wallace. His cousins Tyler Murray, Dane (Angela) Murray, Chris Durden, and Julie Durden, Little James Bellamy along with a host of great cousins, also join in remembering his enduring spirit.

Shaun was preceded in death by his grandparents Nelle Elizabeth (Jerry) Wall, Ivan Wilson (Wanda Lou) Wallace, William Russell Reeves (Mildred) Reeves, as well as his uncle Greg Reeves and Great Grandparents James Dale (Martha) Noland. Their legacy remains a part of the foundation on which Shaun built his life.

Family, friends, and community members are invited to honor Shaun’s memory on May 8, 2026, at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 4005 Memorial Blvd, Springfield, TN 37172. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. This gathering will be a time to share stories, remember fond moments, and celebrate the life of a man who touched so many with his kindness, joy, and unwavering support.

Shaun Patrick Reeve’s legacy lives on through his family, his contributions to his community, and the countless memories of a man who loved deeply and gave freely. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his spirit continues to inspire all who knew him.
