Victoria Jean
Holloway
Oct 20, 1952 — Sep 10, 2026
Victoria “Vicki” Jean Holloway, 73, of Robertson County, Tennessee, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.
Born on October 20, 1952, in Emporium, Pennsylvania, to Frances and Marie LaBrozzi. Vicki grew up in Emporium alongside her three sisters, Cathy, SR. Judith, and Lori, whom she loved dearly.
Vicki graduated from Cameron County High School in 1970 and went on to attend the Olean BusinessInstitute. She later built a career as Executive Assistant to United States District Judge Todd Campbell.
Vicki experienced both great love and great loss throughout her life. Her first husband, Karl Crowell, passedaway in 1976, leaving behind their one and only beloved child, Karla Jean. Vicki later found love again withRick Holloway. The two shared a deep and devoted love until Rick’s passing in 2016. Her love for him never faded and remained with her until her final breath.
Above all, Vicki had a deep passion for her faith and her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her faith was an important part of who she was and remained a source of strength throughout her life.
Vicki enjoyed the simple things that brought her happiness, including diamond painting and canning peppers, but perhaps one of the things she will be remembered for most was her giving heart. Vicki was a giver in every sense of the word. If someone she loved needed something, she would have given them the clothes off her back without a second thought. She was also known for her random, spontaneous gifts— often something you never knew you needed, but somehow always found a use for. Giving was simply part of who Vicki was, and it was one of the many ways she showed her love and let people know she was thinking of them.
Vicki is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Marie LaBrozzi; her first husband, Karl Crowell; her second husband, Rick Holloway; and her sister, Lori.
She is survived by her sisters, Catherine Schlotzhauer of Lake Wales, Florida; Sr . Judith LaBrozzi of Canton, Ohio; her brother-in-law, Steve Smith; her sister in law Debbie Holloway Abercrombie; her beloved daughter, Karla (Chris) Mitchell of Athens, Alabama; her one and only grandson, Kristopher (Marissa) Dowlen of Springfield, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Vicki’s life was marked by an unwavering faith, a tremendous love for her family, and a generosity that knew few limits. Whether through a thoughtful gift, something she made with her own hands, or simply making sure the people she loved had what they needed, Vicki found joy in giving to others. The love she gave so freely, and the memories she created along the way, will continue to live on in the family and friends who loved her .
