William Ray Green age 53, of Adairville passed away on March 3, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 10, 1965 to Jimmy Ray and Faye Green in Springfield. He worked for many years running heavy equipment on different construction jobs around middle Tennessee. He was described as a wild man with a heart of gold; he was caring and loved his family. His family was the center of his world, spending time with his mom, sister, niece and her children.
He was the picture of a true country boy. He loved riding his motorcycle down back country roads where he felt most at home, mudding in fields with his truck and spending time on the banks of the Red River fishing. Ray enjoyed making people laugh by his silly jokes or pranks and had an infectious smile that no one could resist, just ask Kathy his fiancé. They enjoyed the home they had on the farm that they shared with their Pitbull "Marcus" and cats "Midnight and Blondie" who were just like their children.
A Life Celebration will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 6pm with Brother Mike Smith officiation. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
These arrangements were entrusted to Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home and Cremation Center 4005 Memorial Blvd Springfield, Tennessee 37172. www.springfieldfh.com 615-384-5437
