William Thomas "Jackie" Pearson, age 82 of Greenbrier passed away January 5, 2016 at his home. A lifelong resident of Robertson County, Mr. Pearson was born in Cross Plains on November 25, 1933 to the late Herman Lee Pearson and Clara Bell Aldridge Pearson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, a charter member of South Haven Baptist Church and a 30 year retiree from Ford Glass Plant. A hard working man his whole life, he did enjoy fishing as a hobby. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Pearson and his sister, JoDean Honeycutt. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Pearson; children, Elizabeth Faye Traughber (Marvin Edward), Pam Parker (Steve), Kenny William Pearson (Mabel) and Randy Lee Pearson (Sheila); grandchildren, Jennifer Ragan (Jason), Brandon Traughber (Jenny), Brian Traughber, Jeffery Parker (Melissa), Bradley Parker, Ken Pearson, Joseph Pearson, Troy Pearson (Jessica), Wade Pearson, Kayla Weimer (Brandon) and 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susie Williams (Thomas) and Glenda Williams (Joe). A Life Celebration Service will be held on Friday, January 8th at 11:00 A.M. at South Haven Baptist Church with Dr. Frank Gagliano officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-8 P.M. at Springfield Funeral Home and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
