Bettye June Pearson, 72, of Springfield, TN, entered her Heavenly home on August 30, 2021.

Bettye was born December 22, 1948 to the late John and Emma Brown of Jamestown, TN.

Bettye was married to Albert David Pearson, Jr. on May 23, 1986 and they shared 35 wonderful years together with their 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. After 31 years at Nashville Dental, she retired to care for her grandson and travel. She enjoyed time with family from simple dinners together to vacations in Orange Beach, her cabin in Gatlinburg, and The Great Smoky Mountains. When she wasn’t traveling, she could be found in her flower gardens or reading a book.

In addition to her parents, Bettye was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Willie and Nell Brown, brother Jesse Brown, sister Zelma Hughes, sister-in-law Sandy Brown, and great-granddaughter, Bennett Hope Hurd.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Albert David Pearson, Jr.; daughters Tess (Shane) Roach and Tonia Dorris (fiancé John Lester); grandchildren Emily (Chris) Hurd, Caitlin (Stephen) Williams, and David Dorris; great-grandchildren Ryker, Landrie, and Brynn Hurd, and Lexi Gray and Amelia Williams; siblings Wilma Lynn, Mary (Wallace) Byrd, Johny Brown, Lanny (Vickie) Brown, and Roger (Dulcie) Brown, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5-8pm. The family will have a private Celebration of Life and burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alive Hospice.
