Carol Bacall

Carol Bacall of Springfield, an actress, director and teacher, died on November 16, 2021 at NHC Healthcare in Dickson, TN.

Services will be held  Thursday, December 2, 2021  at the Fairmount Mausoleum in Denver, CO.

She was born Carol Silver on April 27, 1928 in Denver where she attended school. As a graduate from the University of Denver, she was a member of numerous honorary fraternities, including Phi Beta Kappa.

At the early age of three, she began performing in both music and drama, and acted professionally in all media coast to coast, until her death. Carol, also, had a extensive background as a producer/director, and acting teacher.

Her professional affiliations included the American Federation of Radio & Television Artists, Actors’ Equity Associations, Screen Actors Guild and American Women in Radio & Television.

Survivors include her daughter, Cris Tina Way (Springfield, TN); son, Bix Doughty (Newnan, GA) and seven grandchildren.
