Georgia Woodall

Georgia Ruth Woodall, age 89 of Springfield passed away on June 28, 2022, at her home.

She was born on August 23, 1932, in Coraoplis, PA to the late Jules and Harriet Durham. For over 40 years, Ms. Woodall was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Clarksville/Sango Ward. She was an active member and was the Chorister for many years.  She loved reading, tending to her flower garden, riding her favorite horse Gypsy and enjoying the Saddle Club. Ms. Woodall loved her family and friends, she enjoyed entertaining at her house which usually included cooking for her family.

Ms. Woodall will always be remembered as a loving mom, sister, grandmother, great- grandmother, siblings and friend.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodall is preceded in death by her son, Jason Burke Woodall.

She is survived by her children, Eleanor (Chuck) Ervin, Frances Craig (Anita) Woodall, Jr., James (Pamela) Woodall, and Stephen (Julia) Woodall; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Durham and sister, Judy Bonds.

A Life Celebration will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Springfield Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5th from 4:00 – 8:00pm then again on Wednesday from 9:00am until the time of service.
