Beloved friends and family,

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Ball on Monday, April 26th. Everyone who knew John loved him. Over the years John had many interests and hobbies that ranged from pottery to blacksmithing to SCUBA diving. He will be remembered for his easy laugh, quick wit, and, most especially, the deep love that he held for his family and many friends.

John was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 6, 1964 to Mary Francis and the late John Edward Ball. He lived most of his life here in middle Tennessee where he enlisted in the Army before going on to meet and marry his wife Kelley, graduate from Tennessee State University, and enjoy a long career in Information Technology. John was a devout Christian and enjoyed sharing his musical talents in celebration and fellowship.

John was the most loving husband to one, father to two, and grandfather to three and a half. He leaves behind his wife Kelley Brooke Ball; his son Jonathan Charles Ball and wife Beth; his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Redding, husband Talon, their children Cora, John, and Ava; his mother Mary Ball; his brother Benjamin and wife Melanie; his brother Jim and wife Pam; and his brother Dennis and wife DeAnna; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved family.

A memorial celebration of life will be held at Solid Rock Baptist Church at 2327 Old State Hwy 11, Greenbrier, TN 37073 on Thursday, April 29th at 5PM.

Instead of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the United Way, his last place of employment and an organization he believed in and supported.

I will be honored by every nation.
