Rob Parker

Rob Parker, age 56 of Springfield, passed away on August 8, 2022 in Madison, Tennessee.

He was born Robert Patrick Parker, Jr., on March 3, 1966 in Nashville to the late Robert Patrick and Lillian Ethel Mathes Parker, Sr. Rob worked for many years as a Master Electrician at DEI.

Rob was described as loving and adventurous man. He loved spending time with his family fishing and hunting for arrowheads. Rob was a family man through and through. No matter what his family was going through he was there to lend a hand. He loved watching NASCAR with his wife. Most days you would find him standing in a circle with either his friends or coworkers with his thumbs hooked in his shirt deciding what job was next or making everyone laugh by telling jokes.

His big heart, dedication to his family and job will be missed for year to come but will live on in his family.

In addition to his parents, Rob is preceded in death grandson, Clay Anthony Parker and niece, Danyell Gavlick.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Parker; children, Staci (Stevie) Holt, Justin (Makenzie) Parker and Jamie Parker; grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Holt, Elijah Holt, and Ryder Holt; siblings, Frank Uquillas, John Parker, Penny Gavlick, Jessie (Leah) Willis and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration will be held at 6pm on August 12, 2022 in the Chapel of Springfield Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4pm until the time of service. Online condolences and floral tributes can be sent at www.SpringfieldFH.com.
