Stone Mountain Dartt was born on April 12, 1978 in Pomona, Ca to Tracy and Sharon Dartt.

Stoney, as his friends and family called him, was a singer-songwriter, musician, graphic designer, sound engineer, and bus driver for his family’s music group, The Dartts. Stoney was adventurous, and enjoyed traveling the world including all 50 states, and over 20 countries singing in music ministry. He had an undying love for all things Disney, and spent much of his time off in the theme parks around the globe. For the past couple years between his cancer treatment he was an Uber/Lyft driver in the Nashville area. He enjoyed getting to know people and hearing their stories, as well as giving a word of encouragement to those in need.

Stoney loved his family very much, and is survived by his parents, and siblings, Donald, Forrest and Florence along with 10 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. Stone Mountain was loved by everyone he met, and had a heart full of compassion and love, and showed abundant grace to everyone he came into contact with. Stoney was being treated at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Newnan, GA for 2 1/2 years with metastatic Neuroendocrine carcinoma. He entered the gates of glory on Tuesday morning, July 6 at 10:35am. Stone Dartt was a member of Napa Valley Baptist Church, in Napa, California.

A Life Celebration will be held on July 17, 2021 at 11am in the chapel of Springfield Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Calder and Rev. Michael Duff officiating. Burial will follow at Springfield Memorial Gardens with Major Stephen McLain, Nathan McLain, Taylor Dartt, Rain Dartt, Kevin Harris and Chad Bell serving as pallbearers.The family will hold a private visitation prior to the service.
